Week 6: Skype & Craft: DIY Infinity Scarf

diy infinity scarf

I love scarves!! How about you all?? I truly feel like I have more fall/winter clothes then spring/summer. I think it’s because they are so warm, cozy and cute! Scarves are my go to accessories come fall time. They look cute all the time, and keep you nice and warm. On those breezy 60 degree fall days they are the best. All you need is a cute pair of leggings, cute button up and a fun scarf, and you are styling in my mind.

I love scarves so much, but sometimes I hate putting down $12-$20 bucks for one. You can buy a cute knit for $3-$5 dollars a yard. A yard is all it takes too to make a scarf. How awesome is that?

You will need:

1 yard of fabric ( I like using knit because it will stretch quite a bit)

Sewing machine

thread

scissors

pins

1: Fold your fabric hot dog style, right sides together.

2: Pin the edges together, and sew the long edge together.

3: Flip your fabric right side out.

4: Pin and sew both the ends of your scarf together.

There you have it a super cute infinity scarf that can be wrapped twice depending on the thickness of your fabric. These would be great Christmas gifts as well! They are so fun to make I am tempted to make a bunch more.
