The holidays are here, and there is so much to get done. We all have our favorite holiday dishes, desserts and appetizers we enjoy each and every year. Of course these are tradition and must be included in our holiday gatherings. When it comes to holiday foods it can be extremely hard to not put on the holiday weight. You can eat, not worrying about the scale with healthier appetizer recipes.
That is where this Truffle Goat Cheese Holiday Dip recipe comes in handy.
This recipe was inspired by Montchevre’s Truffle Goat cheese log. I decided to make a yummy appetizer dip with this goat cheese. Who doesn’t love a great appetizer. Especially dips they are my favorite, but I have one tiny problem with dips. It’s hard to stop eating them. With this healthier recipe you don’t have to have the worry though. Its a win for us all!
If you are entertaining for the holidays this would be the perfect recipe to put on your list the appetizers to share with your guests. Goat cheese is naturally high in protein, vitamin D and calcium. It also is lot easier on the stomach then cow cheese is because it has less lactose in it. For all you that have a little lactose intolerance this would a great option for you during the holidays. One other cool thing about Montchevre goat cheese is that is use only made form fresh goat milk from dairy’s around they trust & love. I love companies that want to promote and sell quality products.
I topped my dip with craisins and chopped pecans. Craisins and pecans just scream festive holidays to me. They are great paired with this yummy goat cheese dip too!
