It can sometimes be hard to know how to season chicken or any meat truly. I do a lot of guessing and checking games with seasoning meats. I like to experiment and come with different ways. It makes it fun and exciting. I have had some that I don’t like as well, so I just discard them and try something new the next time. I made this new rub the other night and it turned out great. It was a great mixture of salty and savory, just the way I like it. I use the rub on chicken breasts, but I am sure you could use it for other meats as well. Let me know what you think of it, and leave your comments below. Enjoy!
1 cup of light brown sugar
2 tablespoons of salt
1 tablespoon of chili powder
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
2 teaspoons of ground cumin
1 teaspoon of pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Mix all the ingredients together and store in a tight container. I like to use mason jars for storage with my rubs.
Note: If you are rubbing this on chicken once rubbed on bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
