I have discovered a new favorite in our house. We ate it two nights in a row. My husband actually asked if we could have it a third night. This was a surprise to me because he really kind of dislikes leftovers. These tacos are so yummy and easy too. I love a dinner that I can toss in the crock pot at 8 in the morning and not worry about it until dinner time. How easy peasy is that?? Super!! Enjoy!!!
2 pounds of pork roast
1 can of Diet Mt. Dew
2 t of garlic salt
2 t of chili powder
½ of a 24 oz jar of La Victoria Green Thick’n Chunky Salsa Verde Medium
Cook in crock pot for 8 hours on low. Once done cooking shred the pork with two forks and leave on warm until ready to serve.
For tacos heat your tortillas and serve with cheese, purple cabbage, tomatoes and onions.
Cilantro Avocado Creamy Sauce:
1 avocado, chopped
1 lime, juiced + zested
3 tablespoons sour cream
1 ½ tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
Blend in food processor until nice and creamy. Serve on tacos.
