I love cooking with a crockpot. It is seriously the best invention ever made for the kitchen. If you don’t have one get out there and buy one. Trust me, you won’t regret it. They make a crazy, busy life so much easier. You can be a cook and have a life as well.
Another good reason that crockpots are amazing is they don’t heat your kitchen up. I love this in the summer time. When its 100 degrees outside there is no way I am turning my oven on to cook dinner. My crockpot comes to the rescue every time.
3-4 boneless chicken breasts
5 small red potatoes-sliced
¼ of an large onion, sliced
1 c. of baby carrots
2 c. of chicken broth
1 pkg of Good Seasons Italian Seasoning
1 t garlic salt
1 t rosemary
Pepper
Spray the inside of the crockpot with non-stick spray. This is help with the clean up after wards for sure.
Place chicken breast in the crockpot frozen 5-6 hours ahead of time. If you are not doing it this far in advance be sure to thaw your chicken. Add potatoes, carrots and onions. Pour 2 c. of chicken broth on top. Sprinkle Good Seasons, garlic salt, rosemary and pepper on top of everything. Cook on high for 5-6 hours. Serves a family of 5.
*Note: I would most defiantly cook this 5-6 hours ahead of time because you want everything to be cooked thoroughly.
