Chili is such a great meal at our house, but it doesn’t have to be just eaten as straight chili. I like to spice things up a little. I love that Hormel Chili with beans can be used for multiple different dishes. Chili cheese dip, chili dogs, chili fries, chili mac and of course my great Hormel Chili & Beans Taco salad. Hormel® Chili is perfect any day, many dishes and any time of the year.
1/2 pound of browned, ground hamburger
1 can of Hormel® Chili with Beans
2 tsp of ground pepper
1 T of garlic salt
1-2 cups of chopped lettuce
shredded cheddar cheese
Any of your favorite salsa
Ranch dressing or sour cream
Brown the 1/2 pound of hamburger and mix it in a large pot of the Hormel® Chili with Beans.
Once that is all heated up it’s time to make your salad. I usually put all the topping on the table and let everyone make their own salad how they want. When I make mine I put the lettuce first, smashed up chips, then the hamburger and HORMEL Chili with Beans, next I put the toppings on in whatever your prefer them to be in.
