We just bought a bag of asparagus from Costco last week, so we have been eating it like crazy. At home on our families farms it grows wild in the summer time. Which is so nice because you don’t have to ever buy it. We will actually be moving back home in May after my husband graduates from school. One thing we are looking forward to is the asparagus hunts in the summer time. I remember taking my brand new baby (who is now almost 3) out hunting for asparagus. He loved it of course. 🙂 How sweet is my baby boy?? He was only a month old in this picture. We had the opportunity to live with my in-laws the summer he was born, so my husband could work on the farm. It was so nice to have all the help, as well as enjoy the wild asparagus of course.
1 bunch of asparagus
salt and pepper
Parmesan cheese
Wash your asparagus, and cut the tough ends off. Place them in a little inside grill ( Like a George Forman Grill. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top, and let them grill. I check for ready-ness by poking them with a fork. If it is easy to poke the they are done. Once they are done sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, and serve hot.
