German Apple Pancakes

On the weekends I like to put a little more effort into breakfast. At least more effort then just getting bowls and cereal out like I do during the week. I actually could eat breakfast for every meal. It’s one of my favorite meals of the day. How about y’all??

These German Apple Pancakes super easy to whip up before those sweet babies and hubby jump out of bed on a Saturday morning. Hope you enjoy them as much as we did.

2 T butter

3 small apples

4 eggs

3/4 c. flour

3/4 c. milk

1/2 t salt

2 T sugar

1/8 t cinnamon

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Take your 2 T of butter and place it in a deep round dish and place in oven to melt. While the butter is melting slice your apples very thinly. You can leave the skin on it or peel it off. I liked it on.

Once the butter is melted spread the apples evenly along the bottom of the dish.

Mix together eggs, flour, milk, and salt. Pour on top of apples. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake for 20 minutes an serve with syrup on top.
