Fried Chicken Tenders

fried chicken tenders

I love buying a big bag of chicken tenders from Costco to put in the freezer. I can use them in so many different meals. One of our favorites lately is fried chicken tenders. They are super simple. Even if you haven’t thought to make them until an hour before dinner time it can be done. The chicken tenders will defrost in your microwave in just a few minutes, and frying them takes little to no time as well. The other night I fried some up and we made chicken sandwiches on a hamburger bun. It was super yummy. Hope you enjoy!

Fried Chicken Tenders

9-10 chicken tenders, thawed

2 cups of white flour

salt & pepper

3 eggs

Vegetable oil

Place your flour on a large plate, and sprinkle salt and pepper. Sprinkle to your liking. Whisk with a fork. Then crack your eggs on another large plate and whisk. In a large frying pan add about 3-4 inches of vegetable oil. Just enough to cover the chicken tender when placed in the pan to fry. Turn your heat up to medium high. Test the heat by sprinkling a little flour in the hot oil. If it sizzles it’s ready.

Cover each chicken tender with flour first, then dip both sides in egg and then back to the flour. Cook your tender on each side for about 3 minutes until golden and crispy. Place all your chicken tenders on a plate covered with paper towels to soak up the oil.
