Remember those great Freezer Breakfast Burritos I shared with you all just a few weeks ago? Well they are gone, gone and gone. My family loved them so much that they wanted more. Along with making more breakfast burritos I decided to do beef and bean burritos as well. They are just as easy as the breakfast burritos are too. Which makes them even tastier of course. I love these because when I am too busy, or lazy to make dinner, lunch or breakfast my family has a option of pulling one of these great burritos out of the freezer. They can have great homemade meal in front of them in about 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. I love it and hope you do too!
What you will need:
1 pound of ground hamburger, cooked
1/2 an onion, diced
2 cans of diced chilies
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
2 cans of refried beans
garlic salt
pepper
a bunch of flour tortillas
plastic wrap
large ziplock bag
1st: Brown your hamburger first. Then add the diced onions to the hamburger. Sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper.
2nd: Empty 2 cans of refried beans and place them in a medium size pot to heat on the stove top. Sprinkle garlic salt and pepper to taste.
3rd: Build your assembly line to assemble the burritos. Spread beans in the tortilla first them top everything else inside. Fold tortilla up tight. I placed my tortilla on a round pizza pan on top of plastic wrap to make it easy. Place them into the ziplock bag to freeze. They can keep up to 3 months, but I am sure they will be eaten before that. Sure enough you will be making up more just like me. Enjoy!
**Note: I had some left over cheese and refried beans. I used them to make bean and cheese burritos. I got about 7 B&C burritos. I labeled them B&C so we would know.
