When life gives you snow, what do you do with it? Of course you make Snow Cream. We didn’t have snow forever, then just before Christmas we finally got some. Just in time to make it feel more like Christmas. What do you do with all that snow besides sledding, making snowmen and snow angels? You make snow cream that’s for sure. After all your fun play in the snow, treat yourself with a sweet and yummy snow treat.
If you have never made snow cream before you are missing out. It is the easiest and is actually really yummy. All you need is some clean snow, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. It’s as simple as that. Oh and don’t forget the sprinkles to make it extra fun for the kids.
I had never made or tried snow cream before. My mom use to have it growing up though. She is from down south and it hardly ever snowed. When it did they never missed out on the opportunity to make snow cream. My sister and her family were up for Christmas break, and we had lots of great snow, so we took the chance to try our first batch.
The kids loved it and so did us moms. Once you make it once the kids will want you to make it every time it snows. They will remember it for days to come, and it will be a happy memory from their childhood they will want to share with their own children. Of course that makes every mom and dad as happy as can be.
Happy snow day friends!

Ingredients
- 8 cups of fresh snow
- 1 can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 Tsp of Vanilla
- Favorite sprinkles
Instructions
- Gather up your fresh snow from outside in a large bowl. I used a stainless steel bowl. It seemed to keep it frozen longer.
- Pour one can of Sweetened Condensed Milk and your vanilla over the top of the snow. Stir until completely mixed up well.
- Serve up in bowls with your favorite sprinkles to make it extra fun!
