I get asked all the time to review products on my blog by companies. The majority of them I can’t relate to or are posts I just don’t write about on my blog. When Modern Map Art contacted me I was happy to review their product. The Story of Us star map is exactly what my blog is all about. Life, family and all the things that come with it. I have been working on a picture wall collage in my long hallway that this product will fit in perfectly. This product review came in just the right now. Now to figure out in the collage to fit it in. My collage is full of family pictures, and I have been working on getting a big wedding picture printed to put this map by. Tell me I am not the only one who hasn’t framed any wedding pictures. Okay, I am pretty lame. We have been married almost 10 years, and I need to get on the ball with it. This Star Map Art is the perfect push to get me to do it.
My husband and I were married August 16, 2008, and it has been amazing almost 10 years. We met at the jr. college, close to home, LDS singles ward. We were both dating other people at the time though. Around Christmas 2007, my husband called me up and asked me on our first date. Then that Valentines day we told each other we loved each other. Then in May 2008 we were engaged. Seems quick, but when are are young and in love you just know it’s the right thing to do. We were married about 3 years before having children. Our son, Ian came first. We were over joyed to have him join our family. My husband was going to Veterinary school at the time, and I was working on my degree online while staying home with our son. In 2013 our sweet little girl joined our family. Not long after our daughter was born, our son was diagnosed with sever non-verbal Autism. Life was hard, but it did’t mean we didn’t still love life together. We are now living in Wyoming were we both grew up at. My husband owns his own mobile veterinary clinic. Life is great and that is the story of us!
