Simple Fruit Salad

Simple Fruit Salad

I shop for my produce at Costco, and I have pretty great luck there. They always have the best berries and other fruits to choose from. This week I got some blueberries, strawberries and apples. Nummy, it what my 2 year old said while eating this fruit salad. My kids love fruit, so I try to have it as a side for family meals. Usually I will just cut strawberries up and we eat them just plain. Other times I will mix a few fruits together and sprinkle some Stevia on it. It makes for a super simple fruit salad. I decided to mix it up a bit tonight for dinner. Yogurt is such a great staple to have in the house. You can toss it in salads, dressings, when baking something and so many other things. It makes things just super delicious. This salad is so simple that you can make it within minutes before serving dinner. It’s perfect in every way. Everyone will love it. Enjoy!

1 1/2 cups of chopped apples with peels

1 cup of blueberries

1 cup of sliced strawberries

2 cups of your favorite strawberry or blueberry yogurt

Chop the fruit up that needs to be. Mix all the fruit in a medium size bowl.

Toss in 2 cups of yogurt, and stir until all the fruit is covered in yogurt. Serve chilled or right away.

Suggestion: Another thing that is great to toss in this salad is chopped walnuts to give it a little crunch!
