Today, I was feeling the need to bake some bread. It had been quite sometime since I had made bread. This recipe is seriously so good too. Also it’s easy and quick. I love breads that you don’t have to spend days preparing and then bake them. I kind of love to just eat it right then, rather then wait for it. Okay, so now you all know I am super impatient when it comes to bread. Aren’t the rest of you?? 🙂 This bread took me just a little over an hour to prepare then bake. Oh and of course it cooled it took me about 2 seconds to devour a giant piece of it. Try it it’s amazing. Enjoy Friends!
5 1/2 cups of bread flour ( I used all-purpose and it taste amazing)
2-4 T of sugar
1 1/2 tsp of salt
1 1/2 T of yeast
1 1/2 T olive oil
2 cups of water
1 T Crush Rosemary
1 T garlic powder
Mix all dry ingredients together. In your mixture add 1/2 a cup of water at a time, and mix with dry ingredients. Once you have all the water mixed in, remove dough from mixer. Spray a large area of your counter top with non-stick spray. Knead the dough for a few minutes. Then separate into two equal parts. Shape each part into the size you want. Place the dough on a greased cookie sheet. Taking a knife make several slashes on the top. Let dough sit and rest for 15 minutes while the oven preheats to 350 degrees. Once it has preheated bake the bread for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes take a pastry brush and brush the top of your loaves with melted butter and bake for 3 more minutes to brown the tops.
