The Problem

Finding modest clothing can sometimes be a challenge these days. I love it when I can find clothing that is not only modest but affordable.  The problem with finding modest clothing is a true struggle. When I go shopping I will find the perfect skirt or dress, and then I discover the problem. It had a high slit, it’s completely see through, it is sleeveless and the list goes on. It can sometimes be a big hunt, like finding a needle in a haystack to find modest clothing that wont break the bank.

A Solution

I found a solution in my big problem, and I most certainly want to share it with you all. Cleo Madison is a great clothing company who sales items that are just what I need in the modest department. Oh, and of course they are super affordable. Cleo Madison is ran by Elizabeth Morgan and her husband Adam. Elizabeth started her clothing company in 2016, when she became fed up as many of us are to find modest clothing. She wanted to help other women just like you and I end the struggle. This cute little clothing boutique is full of modest & affordable skirts, dresses, tops & swimsuits. I enjoy that they these items are in their inventory because they seem to be the biggest struggle when shopping for modest clothing.

One of my favorite items from their store is the Ballard Striped Dress in Navy. It is the perfect length. I am not very tall, so sometimes long maxi dresses are too long for me. This dress hits me mid-calf, and looks super cute with a styling pair of booties. The material of this dress the softest, and so comfy. I don’t feel restricted in this dress at all. I could stay in this dress all day long because of it’s pleated waistline and perfect stretch. It’s perfect for throwing on a cute pair of sandals in the summer for a picnic at the park to dressing it up more with a blazer and heels. I feel like this dress can be worn through out the whole year. The Ballard Striped Dress can be the perfect staple in your closet. You could create so many different outfits with it.

My favorite thing about this dress is that it has pockets. Who doesn’t love a dress with pockets! This dress has navy blue and white stripes. There are horizontal stripes on the chest and sleeves, and vertical stripes on the skirt portion. It has 3/4 length sleeves, and is midi length.  95% rayon, 5% spandex. It has the perfect amount of stretch and movement. Great for those that work with kids or a on the go mama!
