Mezzetta Garden Spaghetti
1 pound of ground hamburger
1/2 pound of ground pork sausage
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 banana pepper, chopped
1/2 purple onion, chopped
2 large carrots, chopped
1 yellow tomato, chopped
1/2 cup of fresh basil, chopped
1 T olive oil
1 T garlic salt
1/2 bag of spaghetti noodles, cooked
First things first, chop up all the veggies and set aside.
Be sure to put your spaghetti noodles on to boil while you are in the process of cooking your sauce. I usually use about 1/2 a bag for a family of 4. I have a hard time judging how many noodles to cook. Any tips on this??
Now you need to brown your meat. Brown the meat until completely cooked though. Where you have no more pink left in it. Then add all your chopped veggies besides the tomato and basil. Along with the veggies add your olive oil and garlic salt.
Once the veggies are cooked and nice and tender it’s time to add the sauce, tomatoes and basil. Simmer on medium low until the sauce it hot.
Once your noodles and sauce are done cooking, it’s time to serve this Mezzetta Garden Spaghetti up. Hope you enjoy this warm meal for the fall time together as a family often. Eat up! #FallForFlavor
