Mezzetta Garden Spaghetti

Mezzetta Garden Spaghetti

We have had a great summer, and I am very sad that it is coming to an end. We have had small little glimpses of fall time here in Wyoming. I do love fall time, but I don’t like the cold that comes after the fall season. If any of you have ever been to Wyoming you will know what I am talking about. To get my mind off the seasons changing I made this Garden Spaghetti last night for my family. Mezzetta asked me to be part of their campaign to promote their homemade pasta sauces. I have never tried Mezzetta’s Napa Valley Homemade pasta sauces, but I am a fan now. I used the tomato basil pasta sauce for the recipe, and it is amazing. The reason why spaghetti reminds me of the fall season is  because when it starts to get cooler outside I love to cook hot meals. In the summer it is far to hot to cooking to many hot meals over the stove. We do a lot more grilling. I am excited though to start busting out all my hot meal recipes again. I think my family is excited too. I know I am excited to add Mezzetta pasta sauces to the menu for many fall time memories for sure. #FallForFlavor

Be sure to put your spaghetti noodles on to boil while you are in the process of cooking your sauce. I usually use about 1/2 a bag for a family of 4. I have a hard time judging how many noodles to cook. Any tips on this??

Now you need to brown your meat. Brown the meat until completely cooked though. Where you have no more pink left in it. Then add all your chopped veggies besides the tomato and basil. Along with the veggies add your olive oil and garlic salt.

Once the veggies are cooked and nice and tender it’s time to add the sauce, tomatoes and basil. Simmer on medium low until the sauce it hot.
