When it’s summer time we love to have BBQ’s at my house. Our grill gets lots of use during the summer season. I hate when I go to the fridge and think I have a bottle of bbq sauce, but it’s just about gone. This recipe will save the day when it comes to this situation. It’s a easy, quick fix for no bbq sauce in the fridge. It has a little bit of a different consistency then normal sauce does, but it taste great. It will give all your bbq meat a mouth watering taste for all those grilling days.
Today I am not actually grilling baby back ribs, but cooking them in my slow cooker. I put them in this morning, and added this yummy sauce to them. I will add a little bit more just before I serve them. I can’t wait to eat them for dinner with my family.
I hope you enjoy this homemade bbq sauce, and your guest do as well. Happy grilling!
Chop & saute 2 cloves of garlic with 2 T of butter
Then add:
1 1/2 cup of water
1 cup of ketchup
3/4 cup of chili sauce
2 T of mustard
1/4 cup of brown sugar
Mix everything together and heat over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Stir so that it doesn’t stick to the pan. Toss on top of your meat to marinate or brush on top while you grill it.
