The holidays have arrived, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. I love this time of year. We get to gather with lots of family and friends, the ones we love the most. We are reminded of the things we have been blessed with, and what we are truly thankful for. Usually these holiday celebrations are gathered around food. If you are a eggnog lover at this time of year you will love that this cake recipe. Most of us spend a lot of our time during the holidays in the kitchen baking away. This cake is a simple cake that wont leave you slaving away over a hot stove all day. You can have it served to your guest quickly and enjoy the conversation and party as well.
1 Spice Cake Mix
1 1/2 cup of eggnog
1/2 cup of eggnog for drizzling over cake
Mix together the eggs and eggnog for about 1 minute on high speed
Add the cake mix 1/2 cup at a time to the mix. Beat in your mixer for 2 minutes. It will get nice and fluffy
Pour your cake batter into a greased and floured bundt cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
Let cool for about 10 minutes then remove cake from pan onto serving dish. Drizzle each piece that you serve with a little bit of eggnog. Serve with vanilla ice cream as well.
