Crock Pot Ranch Chicken

Crock Pot Ranch Chicken

Last night I had a hot date (my wonderful husband) to a super yummy prime rib dinner. It was so nice to get dressed up a little. By dressed up I mean dressy casual (jeans and a pretty blouse). My husband is a Vet, and for work sometimes animal drug reps will come in to do presentations for the vets and their customers. While they do these presentations they also buy the group a nice dinner. It was super fun to get to go with him to this small function he had put together. We had my baby sister come over to babysit the kids. I hate just leaving them with Mac & Cheese or PBJ’s to eat while I am eating my fancy dinner. I decided to make this great and quick crock pot meal for them.

8 chicken tenders

3 T of Hidden Valley ranch dressing mix

1 can of cream of chicken soup

cooked rice

I defrosted my chicken beforehand so that it would cook faster. I decided on this meal at about 1:30 so I didn’t have all day to have it cook. I always spray my crock pot with non-stick spray anytime I use it. It just makes for a easier clean up. Then I mixed the cream of chicken soup together with the ranch dressing mix. Placed the chicken tenders in the bottom of the crock pot. Them poured the cream of chicken soup mix on top. I cooked it on high for 2 hours. Then I switched my crock pot to low until it was time to eat. Serve over white or brown rice when ready to eat. Also this would be could served over toast also.
