Creamy Cucumber Salad

creamy cucumber salad

Summer is coming and I can’t wait. It’s my favorite season of the year, and I am sure it is many of your favorites as well. One reason I love summer is fresh garden vegetables. This cucumber salad I made the other day was not straight from the garden of course, but I can’t wait to make it with fresh garden cucumbers this summer. If you are looking for a quick and easy salad to go with your dinner or lunch this salad would be a great choice.

1/2 cup of plain yogurt

1/4 c sugar

2 1/2 T of white vinegar

1 t of dill weed

1/2 t of salt

1/2 t of pepper

2 cucumbers peeled and sliced

1/2 large onion sliced thinly

Slice the cucumbers and onion and add them to a large bowl. In a separate bowl mix yogurt, sugar, vinegar and dill weed. Once mixed together add to the cucumbers and onions. Stir until the cucumbers are fully covered with the sauce. Sprinkle your salt and pepper on top before serving.
