I cannot believe that this week is Christmas. I think I am completely prepared for it. Well besides a few small things that I need to grab. I am excited that we get to spend Christmas in our new house this year. We are so use to traveling for Christmas that it kind of becomes habit. This year will be nice.
Today in church they had a wonderful program for sacrament meeting. Full of great messages of the birth of Christ/true meaning of Christmas. It was a great reminder who we should really be celebrating as we gather together as family and friends. #Saviorisborn #sharethegift
Here is a great video to help us all get in the true Spirit of Christmas!
2/3 cup of butter, softened
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 ½ cups of flour
2 ¼ tsp of baking powder
½ tsp of salt
1 cup of Christmas colored milk chocolate M&M’s
1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Then add the flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well.
Then fold in the chocolate chips and M&Ms.
Take a greased 9x 13 Pyrex pan and spread the cookie dough evenly into the pan. Bake for 40 minutes. Using a toothpick to check for readiness. It will still be kind of gooey in the middle but crispy on top. Let cool before serving,
Tip: These are great to eat with ice cream!
