Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

I am a huge fan of anything chocolate. Especially anything with dark chocolate in it. I L O V E dark chocolate!! When you have a craving for chocolate you just need it now, and these cookie bars will fix you right up. They are quick and easy go to for a chocolate dessert. I do love just plain ol’ chocolate chip cookies, but these are even quicker. You don’t have to sit in your kitchen all afternoon baking pan after pan of cookies. They are all in one pan that will take you an hour or less from start to end. Then about you know maybe 60 seconds to indulge in these babies. They will melt in your mouth and will leave you wanting more. Did I paint a good enough picture in your mind of these perfect chocolate dessert yet? I sure hope so. Hope you enjoy!
2 cups brown sugar
2/3 cup of butter, softened
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 ½ cups of flour
2 ¼ tsp of baking powder
½ tsp of salt
1 cup of milk chocolate chips
1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips


Preheat oven to 325 degrees while you are mixing together your cookie dough. Cream together the eggs, butter, sugar and vanilla. Then add the flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well. Then fold in the chocolate chips. Take a greased 9x 13 Pyrex pan and spread the cookie dough evenly into the pan. Bake for 25-35 minutes. Using a toothpick to check for readiness. It will still be kind of gooey in the middle but crispy on top.
