Since it’s been hot I am always needing something nice and cold to drink. This almost 100 degree weather is killing me. I know I complain when it’s cold and now when it’s hot. Never happy?? Right?? When my husband and I were first married we lived right around the corner from a Sonic. Limeade’s were my favorite thing to get there. I would drive pass it on my way back from my lunch break, and of course had to stop to get one. Who else loves Sonic? I sure do miss living by it during the summer time.
In our little house we are living in now we don’t have AC, so all we have to cool down the house is a window cooler. It works pretty great if I can drink a cold one of these Brazilian Limeade’s all day. 🙂 What is your favorite cold drink on hot days like this?? I hope that this Brazilian Limeade will become your new favorite. Cool down with this yummy drink.

6 limes
water
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk
First things first you will need to take 6 limes and slice them up.
Put all the sliced limes in the blender. Cover the limes with water until the water completely covers them up and little more.
Take a strainer and pour the limes and lime juice through the strainer to drain out all the rhine.
Pour all the juice back into the blender with 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk and blend it well. It will be nice and frothy. Serve it on the rocks (ice cubes) with a cute little straw, and this makes for a great family party drink. Drink up!
