6 DIY Kids Christmas Ornaments Roundup

I have made a few different Christmas ornaments with my kids, and we love to create fun memories together. Christmas traditions and memories are important to make with your kids. It is something that your kids will remember for a long time to come. They will hopefully make them with their own families one day as well. Let’s not talk about our kids growing up that fast though. It goes too fast as it is.

I have put together a little round up of great DIY Kids Christmas Ornaments for you. I have included a couple of the ones that I have made with my kids as well. When we decorated the tree this year my 4 year old and I talked about the times we made these ornaments. It was great to look back on these times with her.

I have 6 fun and easy activities that any kid could make along with their mom or dad to of course make Christmas memories.

1: DIY: Salt Dough Ornaments

My kids enjoyed putting their hand prints in the dough, both of them did. We did this activity in 2014, so my little girl was almost 2. She loves looking at the tree every year, and seeing how little her hand was. The salt dough is super easy to make and easy for the kids to be involved as well.

2: Handprint Snowman Ornament

Isn’t this the cutest idea for your kids. Another great handprint ornament to look back on the kids as they grow. Trish at TrishSutton.com says, ” There is something about crafts created with little handprints that absolutely warms my heart.” All you need for this craft is ribbon, a can lid, paint and a cute little hand.

3: Pom Pom Christmas Photo Ornaments

This great project is from One Little Project at a Time. It’s a photo craft that kids will love gluing all the Christmas colored pom poms on their sweet little pictures. It would be fun to do there once a year to have fun pictures of your family through out the years. Or it would be fun to share them with grandparents, so they can enjoy their grand-kids on their trees.
